“Portrait of the Artist From the Inside” is my newest body of work which will be featured in a group show in September at the Lacoste/Keane Gallery in Concord, Massachusetts. This body of work stems from intuitive making and whimsy. The forms change because they are sensitive reactions to a dynamic internal life. The vessels are transparent because of their thinness and incisions, which bring the inside out. I stretch the expectations and limits of the fundamental method of coiling and pinching because I enjoy creating unique objects with basic means.
